Our hand-cut splitter is made with 0.25″ Alumalite material which is an aluminum composite with a high-density corrugated polypropylene core that weighs only 6 lbs! Sturdy, Light Construction
Our splitter is made with 0.25" Alumalite material which is an aluminum composite with a high-density corrugated polypropylene core that is highly water resistant. The unique core design makes it light, but very rigid which is important for high wind resistance.
Weighs Less Than 6 lbs (Alumalite)
The Alumalite material core is made with a corrugated plastic with 2 thin aluminum sheet sandwiching the core. If you're trying to reduce weight, this is a better option than wood, ABS plastic or Alupoly.
