Helper springs act as a “spacer” to fill in the empty travel area when a damper is uncompressed. A loose spring/damper setup can cause a spring to dislodge from the spring seat and potentially loosen the lock collars. More importantly, you can damage your dampers on track if your damper reaches full travel. These are different from the assist springs, which are basically helper springs, but with heavier rates.
Swift Springs are sold in pairs. Includes joiner and thrust sheets.
