What happens when Super Street throws a car meet? Pure chaos. Today we met at Boden Autohaus in Costa Mesa for the Toyo x Super Street Calendar Launch Meet. If you’ve been on social media the past few days, chances are you probably have seen flyers for this meet going around. We knew it was going to be pretty epic, but not of this scale.
When we first rolled up to the meet, the first thing we noticed was the massive crowd filling up the streets with show car quality cars parked everywhere around the street while Costa Mesa PD rolled around looking hungry for tire smoke. We saw. It was seriously something you’d see from a Fast and the Furious movie.
From classics to modern supercars, we saw it all. Quarter million dollar McLarens parked next to a Porsche GT3 Cup car was a thing. We also saw Rob from Crooks & Castles with his RWB Porsche and RJ Devera with his Mercedes Benz SLS AMG. Car clubs from BMW, Audi, VW, Subaru, name em all. They came. It was a refreshing sight to see and this event left a warm feeling knowing the car culture is very much alive. Thanks to Super Street for throwing this event. We look forward to more!
