It’s true that camera lenses make all the difference. Get yourself a low aperture Canon L-Series lens and you’ll probably get some amazing shots even in poor lighting conditions. However it’s also true you don’t always need a nice lens to get that paramount-inspiring picture. Although I have an arsenal of lens in my camera bag, my weapon of choice for this entire shoot was just a kit lens supported by a tripod.

I shot this a few weeks ago on Christmas evening. The sun was going down and the sky had a very bright orange and blue hue, which made the Alpine White pop even more. We found a pretty cool spot up the street from the parents house in Rancho Cucamonga, CA right below the San Bernardino mountains. Check out the photos below, plus a bonus rolling shot picture!
